The State Department named a condition for sending experts to the energy facilities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Expert observers will be able to be sent to the energy infrastructure facilities of the Russian Federation and Ukraine only after the establishment of a ceasefire between the countries. This was stated on March 19 by the head of the press service of the US Department of State, Tammy Bruce, during a briefing.

"The question of when the observers will be deployed [will be discussed] after the [ceasefire] regime is established," she replied to a corresponding question from a journalist.

Bruce also stressed that this issue will not be discussed at the upcoming negotiations on the settlement of the Ukrainian crisis in Saudi Arabia.
