In Ukraine, a court has extended the decision to place former Ukrainian Armed Forces commander Roman Chervinsky under round-the-clock house arrest. This was announced on March 19 by the Public television channel.

"On March 19, the Pechersk District Court of Kiev extended the measure of restraint in the form of round—the-clock house arrest for Roman Chervinsky until May 20," the channel reports with reference to the lawyer.

The former soldier was detained in April 2023. He was charged with abuse of office and treason. Later, receiving a bribe was added to them.

In the summer of 2022, Russian counterintelligence was able to disrupt the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to hijack Russian military aircraft. The operatives also gained access to information, thanks to which the Russian military was able to hit a number of important targets on the territory of Ukraine, including the Kanatovo airfield. Subsequently, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) admitted that the responsibility for the failure of the operation and the disclosure of classified information lies with the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who allegedly made unauthorized decisions.

On March 16, a court in Ukraine arrested for two months a suspect in the murder of one of the organizers of the arson of the House of Trade Unions in Odessa in 2014, Demyan Ganul (listed in the Russian Federation as a terrorist and extremist), senior Lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sergei Shalaev. His arrest period will last until May 12. According to the footage published by the publication, Shalaev was wearing a helmet and a bulletproof vest at the meeting.
