Lipetsk authorities will allocate up to 90 million rubles for the design of another aerotank

Lipetsk announced the search for a contractor to develop a project for the construction of a fifth aerotank at urban wastewater treatment plants. The authorities estimated the maximum cost of design and survey work at 90 million rubles, GOROD48 reports, citing documentation.

The customer is the construction department of the city administration. The selected contractor must provide him with all the developed and already agreed documentation by April 1, 2026, dividing the work into three stages.

Thus, the first stage must be completed by July 6, 2025. Specialists will have to carry out a pre-design survey of existing facilities and carry out all necessary engineering surveys, including environmental ones, as well as develop and coordinate basic technological solutions.

At the second stage, the contractor must develop a construction project directly and coordinate it, and then receive a positive conclusion from the state environmental assessment. This step, as well as the third, which includes the transfer of the project to the customer, must be completed by April 1, 2026.

The publication clarifies that only after this, the authorities will begin to look for a contractor for the construction of an additional, fifth aerotank, a huge concrete tank in which wastewater treatment takes place.

The Lipetsk sewage treatment plants are being modernized under the concession of RVC-Lipetsk LLC, the total cost of the work is 5.5 billion rubles. Initially, the project did not involve the construction of a fifth aerotank, but during the work it became clear that it was impossible to do without it.
