In Langley, Virginia, dozens of police officers surrounded the CIA headquarters due to the presence of an unknown armed man near it. This was announced on March 19 by the British newspaper The Sun.
According to the newspaper, eyewitnesses initially reported shooting, but later law enforcement officers denied this information, saying that there were no shots fired, and no one was injured during the incident.
It is specified that the entrance to the headquarters was blocked by police, military and fire trucks, in connection with which residents were warned about the closure of roads.
The CIA has not yet provided comments with details about the incident, the publication clarifies.
Fox News reported on March 8 that one policeman was killed and another law enforcement officer was injured in a shootout with a 14-year-old teenager in Newark, New Jersey. The teenager himself was injured. He was charged with murder, attempted murder and illegal possession of weapons.
