In the city of Minusinsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, where an earthen embankment ruptured, the water level in the overflowing river stopped rising. This was announced on March 19 by the mayor Dmitry Merkulov.

"According to experts, the water level in Minusinka is not rising, but in some places there is a decrease," he wrote on the VKontakte social network.

A little earlier, he noted that work on the evacuation of residents of houses where there is a threat of flooding continues.

According to him, additional assistance was sent to Minusinsk, including 50 employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and eight pieces of equipment, including watercraft.

On the same day, the prosecutor's office of the region reported that 13 house territories were flooded in the city.They added that 22 people were evacuated from there, six of them children. Merkulov also said that due to the flow of water after the dam burst, two bridges were blocked.
