US President Donald Trump said that a telephone conversation with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky lasted about an hour. He posted the corresponding post on March 19 on his page on the Truth Social social network.

According to the American president, the conversation was "very good."

"Most of the discussion was based on yesterday's telephone conversation with President [Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin, the purpose of which was to coordinate the requests and needs of Russia and Ukraine. We are moving along the planned path," Trump wrote.

He noted that a statement with a detailed description of the topics raised in the conversation will be published in the near future.

In 2.5 hours, the leaders of the two countries also discussed the situation in the Middle East and cooperation in the field of sports.

The next day, Zelensky announced that he planned to hold a telephone conversation with the American leader to discuss further actions to resolve the Ukrainian conflict. He added that he was thinking of finding out the details of Trump's conversation with the Russian president.
