Since the liberation of Sudzha, 525 people have been evacuated from the Sudzha district of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 19 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.

"Since March 12, 525 people have been removed from the border area. There are about 6.5 thousand people in 67 temporary accommodation facilities in the Kursk region," the department's Telegram channel says.

It is indicated that the evacuated citizens are provided with everything necessary. Psychologists of the Ministry of Emergency Situations work with them daily in temporary accommodation facilities. In addition, the agency is engaged in the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Kursk region.

"Since August 2024, 360 convoys, including rescue centers of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, have delivered 7,700 tons of humanitarian cargo to the region," the ministry noted.

On March 13, the Russian military told about the evacuation of residents after the liberation of the village of Kazachya Loknya. The export takes place in difficult conditions: The terrain is difficult to traverse due to the spring mud, and the highway is still dangerous.
