Experts named the most profitable destinations for trips in April within the Russian Federation

In April, Russians can avoid overpaying for vacations: it is profitable to travel between winter and summer. Yandex Travel, a travel booking service, analyzed the data on accommodation facilities and named the cheapest destinations within the Russian Federation. Izvestia reviewed the results on March 20.

Compared to the same period last year, demand for travel increased by 14% in April. The most popular were the Far Eastern Federal District, where the average price per night is 5.8 thousand rubles, the Ural Federal District (6.2 thousand rubles), and the North Caucasus Federal District (6.6 thousand rubles).

In addition, in the Northwestern Federal District you can relax by booking a hotel for 6.8 thousand per night, in the Volga region - for 6.9 thousand rubles, in Siberia — 7.4 thousand rubles. In the Southern Federal District, the price per night is 7.7 thousand rubles, in the Central District — 8 thousand rubles.

The Saratov region became the most profitable region for tourists during this period. The average price per night in hotels here is 4.2 thousand rubles. They start planning a trip here in an average of 68 days, and stop for three days.

Other regions have also become profitable destinations for recreation in April: the Kirov and Ulyanovsk regions. The average cost of accommodation per night is 4.4 thousand rubles. In the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Vologda Oblast, the Republic of Mari El and the Krasnoyarsk Territory — 4.5–5 thousand rubles. In Udmurtia, Irkutsk region and Dagestan — 5.3–5.5 thousand rubles per night.

In addition, it is most budget-friendly to go on a trip to Mineralnye Vody in April 2025, the average cost at a local hotel is 3.9 thousand rubles. In Kirov — 4,4 thousand, as well as in Ulyanovsk. It is also advantageous to travel to Vologda (4.5 thousand) and Irkutsk (4.6 thousand).

Hostels became the most profitable categories of tourist facilities for booking during the specified period — the average cost of a night was 2 thousand rubles, they stay in them for an average of three days.
