The Israeli Defense Minister announced the imminent evacuation of civilians from Gaza.

The evacuation of the population from the war zones in the Gaza Strip will begin soon, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on March 19.

"If all the abducted Israelis are not released and Hamas is not expelled from Gaza, Israel will act with such force that you did not know about yet," the minister added, as quoted by Ynet.

Katz called on Palestine to follow the advice of US President Donald Trump.

"Return the abductees, remove Hamas, and other opportunities will open up for you. <...> The alternative will be complete destruction," the head of the Israeli department stressed.

The second stage of the hostage release deal with Hamas is in jeopardy.

The day before, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the resumption of military operations against the Palestinian Hamas movement in Gaza.
