Producer Stas Namin commented on the right obtained in court on March 17 to use the Gorky Park Group brand at concerts. According to him, the legal dispute was initiated by three former members of the band, whom he recruited 35 years ago "to accompany" vocalist and songwriter Nikolai Noskov. He told about it on March 19 in an interview with Izvestia.

"To be honest, I have never sued anyone and I am not involved in these lawsuits now. I don't know why they're so aggressive and they're suing all the time, maybe they're just used to the fact that no one has ever paid attention to their illegal actions before," Namin shared.

According to Vladimir Kalugin, a representative of the band's management, the only leader and vocalist who sang the entire famous album with Bang songs and others that became famous in the world, Nikolai Noskov, left the band back in 1990.

"There are only some of those who accompanied him 35 years ago, and now they claim the name. It was in the nineties, and even more so now it looks pretty funny, it's like the Rolling Stones without Mick Jagger or Queen without Freddie Mercury," said Kalugin.

He also noted that in 2022 Namin restored its Gorky Park brand with a new line-up. The band is actively performing, recording new songs and planning concerts, including in Moscow in May 2025.

The Gorky Park group disbanded in 1990 and did not actually exist for more than 30 years. The revival after a 30-year hiatus took place at the SNC-35 Festival on August 29, 2022. In June last year, the court refused to ban Namin from selling the band's CDs and records, which were released by the Moroz Records recording studio.
