Hockey player Malykhin will be buried on March 21 in Yekaterinburg.

The funeral of Fyodor Malykhin, a hockey player, winner of the 2018 Gagarin Cup as part of Ak Bars Kazan, will take place on March 21. This was announced on March 19 by the Avtomobilist hockey club in the Telegram channel.

"Farewell to Fyodor Malykhin will take place on March 21," the message says.

It is specified that the athlete will be buried at the Shirokorechenskoye cemetery in Yekaterinburg.

The death of hockey player Malykhin was reported the day before. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was cardiac arrest. The athlete died at the age of 34.

During his professional career, the forward played for Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg, Traktor Chelyabinsk, Spartak Moscow, Vityaz Moscow region and Ak Bars Kazan.
