Pashinyan announced his readiness to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on March 19 that he was ready to sign a peace treaty with Azerbaijan.

He clarified that the draft agreement between Yerevan and Baku has already been agreed upon and is awaiting signing.

"I am ready to put my signature on the agreed draft," the Prime minister wrote on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Azerbaijan and Armenia completed negotiations on agreeing on the text of the peace agreement on March 13. According to Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Yerevan has accepted proposals regarding the last two uncoordinated points.

On March 14, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Prime Minister of Armenia announced the approval of a draft peace agreement with Azerbaijan.
