For almost half of Russians, when choosing a developer, the reliability of the company and the transparency of its activities are important criteria, according to a study by GC Exactly, which was reviewed by Izvestia on March 22.

The price—quality ratio is an important factor for 40% of the survey participants. One third of Russians (33%) pay attention to architectural solutions and convenient layouts. In conditions of rapid urbanization, 28% of respondents prefer projects with a developed infrastructure that provides a comfortable living and working environment within walking distance.

"Now it is impossible to build houses without providing them with social infrastructure. This is what the customer looks at first today. Moreover, we have a large flow of internal migration: people are actively moving their families. Of course, social infrastructure is very important to them, because they choose not just square meters, but a comfortable and thoughtful living environment," commented Anastasia Maslekha, director of the company.

Deadlines for the completion of facilities also play a significant role in choosing a developer — 27% of respondents are guided by them. While 25% consider it important to receive regular photo and video reports, and 20% support the idea of online broadcasts from construction sites.

Only 19% of the respondents noted the importance of mortgage and installment programs.

In addition, when choosing a developer, Russians trust the recommendations of friends and acquaintances, for 31% they are an important tool of influence. The media profile of the developer is also important: 24% of respondents trust media publications and independent research, while 22% rely on reviews on social networks and forums. Official websites and social networks of developers are a priority for 13% of survey participants, 10% take into account the company's place in industry ratings.

According to experts, in the new year Muscovites want to buy apartments with dressing rooms (23%), built-in closets (15%), additional outlets on the balcony (13%), a second bathroom (12%), a master bedroom (9%) and a niche for a washing machine (8%).
