Accomplices of Ukrainian telephone fraudsters detained in Tula


Soldiers of the Tula special rapid reaction unit (SOBR) of the Russian Guard have detained suspects in complicity with Ukrainian telephone fraudsters. This was announced on March 19 by the Russian National Guard.
During the investigation, it was established that two brothers from Tula, born in 2001 and 2006, transferred the personal data of Russians obtained illegally to foreign call centers.
"Electronic media and funds in the amount of 1.5 million rubles were seized at the place of residence of the suspects," the agency said in a Telegram channel message.
Earlier that day, in Kuban, employees of the Federal Security Service (UFSB) of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory detained a Russian citizen who is suspected of transmitting information about a military facility to the special services of Ukraine. A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason").
