Alexey Nechaev was re-elected chairman of the New People party

Alexey Nechaev was re-elected Chairman of the New People political party on March 19.

The decision was made unanimously during the Fifth All-Russian Party Congress, which is being held in Moscow.

On April 19 last year, the New People party merged with the Party of Growth.

New People is a centrist party founded by Alexei Nechaev in 2020. In the same year, following the results of the regional elections, the political force passed to four regional legislative bodies on party lists, and after that became the fifth parliamentary party.
