- After receiving an order from Putin, the Russian Armed Forces shot down their own drones.

The Armed Forces of Russia have neutralized their unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) following an order by Russian President Vladimir Putin to temporarily stop attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. This was announced on March 19 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
They noted that at the time of receiving the order, there were seven attack drones of the Russian Armed Forces in the air, aimed at Ukrainian energy facilities.
"The air defense of the Russian Federation was ordered to neutralize the unmanned aerial vehicles, six of them were shot down by the Pantsir air defense missile system, one by an on—duty fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces," the department's Telegram channel said.
A telephone conversation between Putin and President of the United States Donald Trump took place the day before. During the talks, the parties exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine, and also discussed a wide range of areas in which the United States and Russia could establish cooperation.
As the Ministry of Defense reported on March 19, after the Russian leader agreed with the idea of the US president to abandon strikes on energy facilities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out a deliberate drone attack on an energy facility in the village of Kavkazskaya, Krasnodar Territory.
