The Russian authorities will extend the regime of the free economic zone (FEZ) to the areas bordering Ukraine where the regime of the counterterrorist operation (CTO) has been introduced. This was announced on March 19 by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at a government meeting.
It is specified that the free economic zone regime in force in the DPR, LPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions may be extended to certain territories of the border regions. This decision will support the business operating there.
