- One person was killed and four injured in an Israeli strike on the UN building in Gaza.

The Israeli Air Force has attacked the United Nations (UN) building in the central Gaza Strip. As reported by the Gaza enclave's Ministry of Health on March 19, one employee was killed and four injured as a result.
"Five foreign employees working in the UN structures were injured as a result of the shelling by the occupying forces of their headquarters in the central province, one of them died immediately upon arrival at the Shuhada al-Aqsa hospital," the agency said in a Telegram channel.
Earlier in the day, Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the United Nations, said at a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip that Russia condemns Israel's resumption of airstrikes in Gaza and calls for the lifting of restrictions on humanitarian operations throughout the occupied Palestinian territory.
On March 18, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the resumption of military operations against the Palestinian Hamas movement in Gaza. As a result of the Israeli airstrikes, more than 1,000 people were injured, and the death toll increased to 310. The media also said that Israel had warned the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance about the resumption of attacks on Gaza.
