Six firefighters injured due to barrel explosion in Komsomolsk-on-Amur


In Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Khabarovsk Territory, six firefighters were injured while extinguishing a fire in a garage on the territory of a car cooperative. This was announced on March 19 by the press service of the prosecutor's office for the region in the Telegram channel.
It is specified that during the extinguishing work there was a pop of gasoline vapor, which caused six firefighters, as well as the owner of the garage, to receive burns. The victims received the necessary medical care.
According to the agency, the fire has now been eliminated, the causes and circumstances of the incident are being established.
Earlier, on March 10, two employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations died while extinguishing a fire in a one-story residential building in Solikamsk, Perm Krai. According to the press service of the ministry, the roof collapsed, which caused the firefighters of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations to be trapped under the rubble.
