- The Kremlin is monitoring Ukraine's compliance with Putin and Trump's settlement intentions

Russia is monitoring whether the Ukrainian side will listen to the intentions of Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump to resolve the conflict. This was announced on March 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, after the agreement of the heads of state on the topic of abandoning strikes on energy facilities for 30 days, the Russian leader gave appropriate commands to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, but the Ukrainian side attempted to attack critical infrastructure facilities.
"We are closely monitoring whether the Kiev regime will listen to the firm intention of the presidents of Russia and the United States to do everything possible step by step to reach a peaceful settlement," he said at a briefing.
The telephone conversation between Putin and Trump took place on the evening of March 18. During the talks, the sides exchanged views on the situation in Ukraine and discussed a wide range of areas in which the United States and Russia could cooperate.
After the Russian leader agreed with the idea of the US president to abandon attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) carried out a deliberate drone attack on an energy facility in the village of Kavkazskaya, Krasnodar Territory. At the same time, the Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian military had neutralized seven attack drones aimed at Ukrainian energy facilities related to the military-industrial complex (MIC) in the Mykolaiv region.
