Peskov spoke about Putin's position on building relations with the United States

Russian President Vladimir Putin has always stressed the importance of building relationships based on mutual respect and trust. This was announced on March 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"As for the new world order, President Putin has always talked about the need to build relations based on mutual respect, mutual trust and mutual benefit — that's what is happening now," he said at a briefing.

Peskov also added that the presidents of Russia and the United States understand each other well and plan to gradually move towards normalization of bilateral relations.
