"Russia and the United States are very big states, and too many things were ruined during previous administrations in relations between Moscow and Washington, so, of course, it will take time and efforts, supported by the will of the presidents of the two countries, to restore these relations," Peskov said at a briefing.

The Kremlin's official representative also added that there had been no discussions regarding the deployment of peacekeepers in Ukraine during telephone conversations.
