The rights of more than 60 thousand soldiers of the special military operation (SVO) and their family members to receive 3 billion rubles of social assistance have been restored. This was announced on March 19 at a meeting of the board of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation by the head of the department Igor Krasnov.

He noted that in the future, with the participation of the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, oversight means will ensure proper interaction between military enlistment offices and social protection agencies, and the undeclared provision of support measures.

"Participants in a special military operation and their relatives should be included in the payment lists in advance, rather than walking through the offices of officials with an outstretched hand," he stressed.

According to Krasnov, the roots of the problem are, among other things, the late preparation of the necessary documents by military units, which also prevents family members of missing servicemen from receiving support measures. He instructed the prosecutors to strengthen their oversight work in this area.

"Continue to monitor the provision of medicines, medical care, and rehabilitation for participants in the special military operation. In the current situation, dismissing a wounded soldier from service before completing treatment and prosthetics is the same as leaving him on the battlefield," he said.

On March 17, the government commission on legislative activity approved the proposal of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation to grant the spouses of a person who died in their home the right to use a vehicle that was registered to the deceased before inheriting. The relevant certificate will be issued by a notary public. On the basis of the document, the spouse of the participant will be entitled to conclude a CTP agreement.
