About 20 fishermen ended up on a broken ice floe in the Yaroslavl region. This was announced on March 19 in the main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"On the Volga River, near the settlement of Svingino, as a result of a crack in the ice field, approximately about 20 people (fishermen) remained on the ice 20 m from the shore," the ministry said in a statement.
