Putin congratulates Nadezhda Babkina on her anniversary

Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Nadezhda Babkina, People's Artist of Russia and artistic director of the Russian Song Ensemble, on her 75th birthday. The corresponding telegram from the head of state was published on March 19 on the Kremlin's website.

"You have devoted yourself to folk art and for many years, together with the creative team you have created, you have been making a truly unique contribution to the preservation and development of the wonderful traditions of Russian song," Putin said in his congratulatory message.

The President noted the in-demand social work of the artist, as well as her active participation in the implementation of patriotic and charitable initiatives.

Putin wished Babkina good health, inspiration and success in all her endeavors.

Earlier, on March 9, the head of state congratulated Larisa Golubkina, an actress of theater and cinema, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, on her anniversary.
