A civilian was injured in Kakhovka, Kherson region, when the city was shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on March 19 by the head of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"As a result of the Kiev aggression, a 60-year-old resident of Kakhovka was injured. He was hospitalized in the district hospital with shrapnel wounds to his right leg," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
Baldo also noted that as a result of the attack, the power transmission line in the Gornostayevsky district was damaged, and in this regard, electricity was cut off in the villages of Zavodovka and partially in Gornostayevka. An operational team is working at the scene.
In addition, the governor reported an explosion of ammunition dropped from an APU drone in the village of Tavria. This caused damage to the roof of the apartment building.
He added that Ukrainian forces also attacked with drones the towns of Alyoshka, Golaya Pier, Novaya Kakhovka, Tavriysk, the village of Gornostayevka, Dneprany, as well as the villages of Malaya Lepetikha, Maslovka, New Camps and Topolevka.
On March 15, as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on the town of Alyoshki and the village of Pervomaevka in the Kherson region, two civilians were killed and three more people were injured. The injured were hospitalized in a local hospital.
