In the Pskov region, the authorities announced an auction to find a contractor for the construction of a new paleontological museum "Permian Period". The facility will be put into operation in two stages.

The terms of reference state that the Children's Museum Center is scheduled to open before December 22, 2025, and the main exhibition will open on December 6, 2026, writes <url> news agency.

The documentation clarifies that after the opening of the exposition of the Children's Museum Center, the access of visitors and unauthorized persons to the space of the created main exposition is planned to be limited. In this regard, it will be necessary to install temporary protective partitions. Thus, the Children's Museum Center will be able to operate even before the rest of the premises open.

About 294 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the new museum. Earlier, the regional Ministry of Culture did not specify when the completion of the work was planned.

The Perm Period Museum will house the existing Museum of Perm Antiquities and a Children's museum Center. It will be located on the basis of the former Shpagin plant.

In mid-January, it was reported that the project of the interuniversity multifunctional campus "The Future of Parma" in Perm received a positive conclusion from the state expert examination and a construction permit. A site has been selected for the campus in the right-bank part of the city in the Kamskaya Dolina microdistrict. The project includes the construction of hotels for students and teachers with 5,000 seats, an educational and laboratory complex with a technology park, a sports and recreation complex with a swimming pool, as well as a congress hall with a pedestrian gallery. The last two facilities will be accessible to all residents and visitors of the city.
