42 accident centers were marked on the map of Stavropol

Traffic inspectors marked 42 accident centers on the map of the Stavropol Territory. These are the places where accidents most often occur, the press service of the regional State Traffic Inspectorate reported on Wednesday, March 19.

Most of the emergency sites — 10 foci — were recorded in Stavropol and in the territory of the Caucasian Mineral Waters resort group (12 foci). In the Shpakovsky district, six markers were placed on the map, in Kochubeyevsky — four.

As explained in the department, most often the places of concentration of car accidents occur due to violations of traffic rules, the density of traffic and problems with transport infrastructure.

According to the information of the StavropolMedia news agency, inspectors have sent proposals to road owners to eliminate the root causes of accidents.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russia may ban the sale of plugs for car seat belts, as well as various pads and adapters for them. At the same time, the State Duma plans to significantly increase the fine for an unbuckled seat belt.
