A resident of Krasnoyarsk, being a supporter of the mentioned Ukrainian paramilitary associations, in the period from August 2023 to August 2024, he constantly distributed propaganda materials on the VKontakte social network.

"The investigative department of the FSB has opened a criminal case against the man on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities committed using the Internet")," the department said.

The detainee faces up to seven years in prison. During a search at his place of residence in Sevastopol, police officers seized a laptop, as well as other items and documents. The department added that the Leninsky District Court had chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention for two months.
