Employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations have rescued a larga cub in Vladivostok, which had been drifting on an ice floe for several days. This was announced on March 19 by the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.
It is specified that the animal was found on the shore of Shamora, where it was washed ashore in an exhausted state.
According to the agency, specialists wrapped Larga with a warm blanket to protect her from the cold and contacted the rehabilitation center for marine animals.
"Everything is fine with him now, he is under the supervision of professionals who will help him recover," the Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a Telegram channel.
On March 3, the roof of the capybara enclosure caught fire at the Rostov-on-Don Zoo. All the animals managed to be evacuated to a safe place, none of the animals were injured. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation eliminated the fire on 8 sq. m. m and three Patagonian dogs were taken out of the smoke-filled room.
