In the Arkhangelsk region of Bashkiria, rescuers evacuated 98 people due to floods. This was announced on March 19 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the republic.

"Rescuers evacuated 98 people. There are 71 people in temporary accommodation facilities. Hot meals, assistance from psychologists and social workers have been organized," the agency said in a Telegram post.

It is specified that a total of 210 people live in the village of Azovo, Arkhangelsk region.

At the moment, work continues to help the population.

Earlier that day, it was reported that a state of emergency (emergency) had been introduced in the Arkhangelsk region for the municipal level. It is specified that as a result of the rise in the level of the Inzer River in Azov, 42 house territories were flooded, of which 42 houses inhabited by 62 people. The height of the flooding is about a meter.
