Trump called Canada the worst negotiating partner

Canada is the worst negotiating partner, but it is destined to become the 51st U.S. state. This was announced on March 18 by US President Donald Trump.
"It is destined to be our 51st state. We need their territorial advantage. I deal with all countries directly or indirectly, and one of the most unpleasant countries in the negotiations is Canada," he said in an interview with Fox News.
According to Trump, if Canada had joined the United States, Washington would have taken care of its security.
"It would be our largest, most beautiful state. We would have taken care of him. People would pay half as much as they do to Canada now," the American president says.
The day before, on March 17, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that Trump should abandon "disrespectful comments" about Canada before the countries could begin joint negotiations. The prime minister, who took the oath of office on March 14, has not yet held meetings with the American leader. Trump himself has also not yet spoken out about the appointment of a new Canadian prime minister.
