According to local residents, they had to create a kind of stove for heating and look for coal themselves in the surrounding yards.

Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers and residents of Ukrainian border villages have also been observed looting and looting the homes of civilians. As the evacuated resident of Sudzhanets noted, looters most often took household appliances, including televisions, refrigerators, tillers and speakers for music.

"Ukrainians mostly looted nearby villages. They came in their cars and robbed everything," said local resident Vasily.

The city of Sudzha was under the control of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for 218 days and was liberated on March 12. Currently, the city continues to suffer from attacks by Ukrainian drones. Nevertheless, active military operations continue to take place just a few kilometers from the city.
