Ex-CIA analyst commented on the phone conversation between Putin and Trump

"The outcome of the negotiations should be a firm commitment by the United States to immediately cease all support to Ukraine, including intelligence, financial assistance, and weapons. If Washington refuses to do this, it means that the United States is at war with Russia, and people should recognize this," Johnson believes.

The expert is convinced that the United States did not stop assistance to Ukraine in full after the altercation between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the White House.

"We need a public statement or declaration signed by the president ending all support for Ukraine and calling for new elections to have a legitimate president. If this happens, then yes, we are on the way to a real diplomatic settlement of the conflict," the expert added.
