- The far-right will return to the Israeli government after the resumption of fire in Gaza

The far-right Israeli Otzma Yehudit party, along with its leader Itamar Ben-Gwer, will return to the Israeli ruling coalition. This was announced on Tuesday, March 18, by the Kan TV channel.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and chairman of the Otzma Yehudit party Itamar Ben-Gvir agreed today on the return of the faction to the government," the TV channel reported.
The decision was made against the background of the resumption of fire by the country's authorities in the Gaza Strip, which was the main political demand of the party.
"This is the right, moral and most justified step necessary to destroy the Hamas terrorist organization and return our hostages. We must not accept the existence of Hamas, it must be destroyed," Ben-Gvir said.
It is planned that Ben-Gvir will return to the government as Minister of National Security, which he held before leaving due to disagreements over the ceasefire in Gaza.
On March 18, the IDF announced the resumption of military operations against the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in Gaza. As a result of the Israeli airstrikes, more than 1,000 people were injured, and the death toll increased to 310. The media also said that Israel had warned the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance about the resumption of attacks on Gaza.
