Major Kurzin repaired the communication equipment during the battle with the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Major Vladimir Kurzin carried out combat missions to organize special communications in one of the tactical areas in the area of a special military operation. On Wednesday, March 19, the Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian army soldiers.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) opened fire on Russian positions, as a result of the explosion of a cluster munition, special communication equipment was damaged. Kuzin promptly assembled a group of Russian military personnel and went with them to the point of damage, despite the ongoing shelling. Upon arrival at the site, Kurzin's group successfully repaired the control room, and communication was restored.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage and determination of Senior Lieutenant Mikhail Chigarkov, who commanded an engineering and sapper platoon and received a combat mission to advance to the line of combat contact to make passages in the mine-explosive barriers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Following the route, the platoon defused explosive devices of several classes in a short period of time, and then managed to return to the unit unnoticed. This allowed the Russian military to pass through the mine-explosive barriers organized by Chigarkov the next day and successfully attack the enemy, as a result occupying the AFU stronghold.

Earlier, on March 18, the Ministry of Defense reported that Guard Senior Sergeant Andrei Feofilov, along with reinforcements, headed for the Russian military stronghold attacked by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Along the way, he shot down an enemy FPV drone, delivered reinforcements to the line of contact, and evacuated a wounded Russian serviceman to a hospital.
