For conscripts who have served, they want to exclude probation when applying for a job. As Izvestia found out on March 18, such a bill was developed by deputies of the LDPR faction headed by Leonid Slutsky.

According to the authors of the initiative, such a measure equalizes the rights of both those who find employment immediately after graduation from educational institutions, and those who, upon graduation, were drafted into the army and after demobilization want to get a job in their specialty.

"We receive many appeals from our citizens, which point to the infringement of the rights of college and university graduates who have served a year in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. It turns out to be an absurd situation: the sacred duty of every Russian, which now takes a year, deprives former students of one of the main measures of state support — the right not to undergo probation when applying for a job. The fact is that according to the existing rules, the advantage of not passing the test is valid for employers only one year after graduation. And if the guys spent all these 12 months defending their homeland, then they are automatically deprived of this privilege. There is a clear injustice, and in relation to honest, patriotic guys. The LDPR cannot put up with this, as it is being discredited," Leonid Slutsky explained.

Today, according to the law, the employment test is not established for people who have received secondary vocational or higher education and enter the profession for the first time within one year after graduation.

On February 18, the head of the State Duma's defense Committee, Andrei Kartapolov, said that the State Duma (State Duma) was developing amendments to legislation that would exempt from military service soldiers of the special operation to protect Donbass who voluntarily signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry and served for six months.
