Former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said that the telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, March 18, was "good news."

"The dialogue is ongoing, and both sides are getting closer. Now is the time to use these channels for peace. This conflict should not bring more suffering," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
