Sobyanin inspected the last section of the Solntsevo–Butovo –Varshavskoye highway

The final section of the Solntsevo – Butovo – Varshavskoye highway will be commissioned in 2026. This was announced on March 17 by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin during an inspection of the construction site.

The official noted that this road construction is one of the highest priorities, which will connect the specified section with the Moscow High-speed Diameter. The mayor stressed that the site is relatively small, but extremely complex, full of overpasses, tunnels, interchanges, according to the Moscow City News Agency.

With the commissioning of the highway, the load on the MKAD will decrease by about 16%, Varshavskoye and Kaluzhskoye highways will be unloaded by 12-13%, writes RT.
