Malay cubs from the Moscow Zoo were introduced to each other

At the Moscow Zoo, experts introduced the Malay cubs Ray and Asterisk to each other. This was announced on Tuesday, March 18, by Mikhail Bragin, head of the Mammals department at the Moscow Zoo.

According to him, this was done very carefully, first Ray was brought into the room to the Star in his arms and introduced at a distance, and then they were allowed to interact directly for 15-20 minutes, the Moscow city news agency notes. When the cubs began to have good communication, their time together was increased to several hours. At first they were wary, but then they began to play actively. The fact that a bear cub was brought to the Moscow Zoo from Malaysia became known on October 25. According to Fursin, representatives of this species of bears have not appeared in any of the zoos in Russia for more than 30 years.
