Belarus plans to transfer vehicles to Russia in the near future to install the Oreshnik missile system on them. This was announced on Tuesday, March 18, by the Secretary of State of the Republic's Security Council, Alexander Volfovich.

"We are completing the manufacture of the necessary number of these machines, which will soon be transferred to the Russian Federation in order to install a weapon of destruction on them," he said on the Belarus-1 TV channel.

In addition, Volfovich clarified that Belarus has already prepared locations for the Oreshnik.

"I think that by the end of the year we will fulfill the instructions that the heads of state [Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarusian Leader Alexander Lukashenko] have set for us," the State Secretary of the Security Council of Belarus summed up.

Earlier, on March 14, Lukashenko announced that the Oreshnik would soon enter service with the Belarusian army. According to him, the launcher for this rocket is manufactured in Belarus. He added that Minsk expects to receive several missiles from the Russian Federation in the near future, and the launchers will be made in the country.
