Yemeni Houthis reported a missile attack on an Israeli airbase

The Yemeni Houthis fired a hypersonic missile at the Nevatim air base in Israel. This was reported on March 18 by Al Mayadeen TV channel with reference to the armed forces formed by the rebels.

"The Armed Forces <... They attacked the Nevatim airbase with a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile," the newspaper points out.

According to the Houthis, the missile reached its target.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recorded rocket fire from Yemen. In the early morning, the IDF announced the resumption of military operations against the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in Gaza.

Journalist Barak Ravid said that Israel had warned the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance about the resumption of attacks on Gaza. Later, Al Masirah TV channel noted that the Yemeni Houthis plan to continue the military escalation in support of Hamas.
