On the weekend of March 22 and 23, the Moskino Film Park will host events dedicated to the events of 1812: Napoleon's retreat and the Battle of Smolensk. The guests of the venue will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of that time, to see the reconstruction, which will be attended by about 200 people, the organizers said.

First, a solemn general parade of troops is planned in the decorations of Cathedral Square. Then there will be large-scale reconstructions of the battles.

Three guided tours have also been prepared for the guests of the film park, which will help them experience the atmosphere of that time. Visitors will be invited to get acquainted with the exposition, where the uniforms of the armies of the Patriotic War of 1812 are presented, inspect authentic military equipment, and also visit the exhibition "The life of soldiers and townspeople."

In addition, historical workshops and interactive events will be held at Moskino. So, at the master class "Artillery of the Great Army" they will tell about the guns used in those days, and during the lesson on military field surgery they will reveal the secrets of doctors' work in war conditions. Guests will also be able to try their hand at fencing, visit a barber shop, a cartridge factory and a laboratory. Those who are interested in gunsmithing will be offered to learn how to clean a gun and become a participant in a game duel.

Several special thematic demonstration points will also be set up on the territory of the film park: an officer's tent, locations "Soldier's Life", "15th Dragoon Regiment", "Hussars", "Music of Battle" and "Elite Militia of the Russian Army".

The quest "Gusar Romance" will also take place in Moskino as part of the film releases. The organizers were inspired to create a team game by the film "The Hussar Ballad", as well as "Notes of a Cavalryman Girl" by Nadezhda Durova.
