Deadlines for registration of social services and payments have been reduced in Moscow

The process of updating the social service information system has been completed in Moscow. As Mayor Sergei Sobyanin noted, it is now "a modern digital platform that allows you to track payment assignments and provide automated support measures."

In his Telegram channel, the mayor wrote that "the abandonment of paper document management and file sharing, the creation of data storefronts, and the active introduction of modern technologies will make it possible, on average, to halve the timing of payments."

According to the mayor, about 4.5 million citizens use various social support measures, and the city authorities are constantly increasing "the accessibility and targeting of such assistance."

As noted in the message on the capital's portal mos.ru Moscow provides "the highest standards of social support for citizens, while preserving the best traditions and introducing new flexible and effective assistance tools." Thus, thanks to digitalization, it was possible to reduce the time for reviewing an application for recognition of a person in need of social services by half — from 10 to five working days. In addition, the service registration procedure has become more convenient and expeditious — the application can now be submitted to the public services center "My Documents" or electronically at mos.ru .
