Putin: some companies that left Russia are going to return

Some foreign companies that left Russia are going to return. This was announced on March 18 by Russian President Vladimir Putin during the annual congress of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP).
"Now the companies that left are going to return, we are aware of this," he said.
The Head of State instructed the government to closely monitor the situation with transactions with companies that wished to return, so that it would not happen that the owners sold the business at a bargain price, and now they want to buy the asset back, but for the same modest money.
Putin also recalled that the Russian Federation "did not expel anyone," and those firms that want to return must offer competitive conditions. According to him, Russian business has wisely taken advantage of the withdrawal of foreign companies from the Russian market.
Earlier in the day, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, speaking at the RSPP congress, said that Russia needs to develop a unified approach to the return of Western companies to the Russian market. According to him, this opportunity should not be taboo. At the same time, Russian beneficiaries should have control over joint companies, he said.
On March 13, Putin announced closed-door negotiations with foreign companies regarding the return of some partners to the Russian market. He noted that the negotiations are taking place calmly, with dignity, with mutual respect and respect for each other's interests.
