Rescuers evacuated 501 people from the liberated Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 18 by the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Telegram channel.

"36 people were evacuated from the Sudzhansky district of the Kursk region during the day. In total, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and other structures took out 501 people," the ministry said in a statement.

It is specified that rescuers accompany local residents to temporary accommodation facilities, as well as help with paperwork and the search for relatives. In addition, it is noted that 67 out of 88 temporary accommodation facilities are involved. There are 20 psychologists who provide all necessary assistance to citizens.
