Alexander Kruglov, a sports journalist who disappeared in Tyumen, has been found, the Russian Interior Ministry told Izvestia on March 18.

Earlier, the journalist came to Tyumen to cover the Russian Biathlon Championship held there from March 13 to 16, but disappeared on the eve of the event.

"The man's location has been established. Other circumstances are being established," the ministry said.

The information that Kruglov was found alive is also confirmed by the Lisa Alert search team, whose volunteers spent two and a half days searching for the missing man.

"More than two days of searching. Round—the-clock verification of all incoming certificates. <...> Alexander Kruglov has been found, is alive," follows from a publication on the VKontakte social network.

Kruglov's disappearance became known the day before, on March 17. According to the Lisa Alert search team, on March 12 Kruglov left for an unknown destination in the Eastern Administrative District of the city. On Sunday and Monday, work was underway to establish its possible location.
