Governor of NAO Bezdudny announced his transfer to a new job

On March 18, the Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Yuri Bezdudny, announced his transfer to a new job.

"Together with you, we have done a lot to ensure that the region grows and develops. I am grateful to all of you for this. I have a new job waiting for me, but a part of my soul and heart will always remain here," he said in a video message to the residents of the district, published on his Telegram channel.

Bezdudny wished the region development and prosperity, and health to its residents. The head of the region did not say where exactly he plans to move to.

In September 2020, deputies of the legislative assembly of the NAO elected Bezdudny as the head of the region for five years. 14 out of 16 MPs voted for him.
