The Su-35S fighter performed combat duty in the Kursk region

The crew of a Su-35S multirole fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces performed combat duty in the border areas of the Kursk region. This was announced on March 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It was clarified that the purpose of the combat duty was to cover the actions of aircraft, as well as helicopters of the Russian army aviation, when they attacked personnel and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

"Tactical aviation pilots carry out combat sorties at any time, in any weather conditions, with various types of aircraft weapons," the ministry said in a statement.

On March 17, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched an attack from the Iskander tactical missile system on the manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region.
