- Liksutov spoke about the preferences of Muscovites when applying for resident parking permits.

Most often, Muscovites apply for a resident parking permit for 3 years, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
As emphasized in deptrans, the choice of a three-year period indicates a stable lifestyle for Muscovites and attachment to their neighborhood.
"A resident permit allows drivers to park their cars in street parking lots in their area without paying for them. Most often, the document is issued for 3 years — in 62% of cases," Maxim Liksutov shared.
According to the Deputy Mayor for Transport and Industry, the number of drivers who use resident parking permits has increased significantly over the past 5 years — by 57%. This suggests that Muscovites see real benefits in being able to prioritize parking near their homes. With this permit, residents of the city can also park in special places for parking permit holders.
A resident parking permit in Moscow can be issued by the owner or tenant of an apartment for 1, 2 or 3 years. It gives you the right to park in your area for free every day from 20:00 to 8:00, with the exception of parking spaces for the disabled, buses and trucks. Also, a resident permit allows you to park a car without paying around the clock, if you pay an annual fee of 3 thousand rubles. The cost has remained unchanged since the introduction of permits in 2012. Permission can be issued on the website. mos.ru .
